Word From The Coach!
September 28, 2009 by admin
Hello all, welcome, again. I’m extremely excited to have all of you become part of our Pressure family. There are so many new faces this year, but I’m sure we’ll figure things out along the way.
In the few weeks that we have been together I’ve noticed a look of excitement and apprehension on the faces of the players as well as the parents. It reminds me of the first day of school, when we drop our kids off and no one knows what to expect.
We’re starting out with three teams playing in October with the high school girls being one of the teams. They will only be able to play until the beginning of November, that’s when the high schools take over.
Our 8th boy’s team will have small numbers initially but we will grow as the season progresses. Kyle Hamane who it seems has been around forever or so it seems will lead the way with second year player Lance Yoshiba.
Our fifth grade boy’s who make up our youngest team, will provide us with much energy.
I feel sure your child will develop their basketball skills here but more importantly they will learn what team really means and what scholar/athlete means.
We are committed to ensuring that every player understands the importance of a quality education.
Again I would like to thank everyone for trusting us with your children. Remember we are always here to help.
Sincerely,
Brice Else/Director
